Hi,

During our design/drafting planning stage we may draft up (without any intelligence) a 'dummy' symbol that is required to be formally created as a symbol and part.
This allows for spacing in the drawing to be set out and for the designer to design and move forward without a formal symbol being created beforehand.

It would be ideal if we could then highlight this component/dummy symbol and right click on it to 'create a symbol'

Currently to turn the 'dummy' symbol into an intelligent symbol, we have to copy it out and into a different drawing space. Open the create symbol tool and then paste it into the space and create symbol intelligently from there.
